The 775 is a cost effective, compact vehicle tracking system for tracking and recovery of a vehicle via GSM LBS Triangulation with an onboard beacon transmitter for accurate vehicle location. To locate the vehicle the unit returns the GSM Cell-ID, LAC and RSSI of the nearest 7 GSM towers and has a “track” function where the unit will transmit the cell ID of every new tower it encounters (for a set period). It is also possible to program in “border” or “no-go” towers and if the unit comes into range of any of the 200 pre-programmed cell towers the unit will inform the control room. Once the vehicle area information has been received the vehicle can be tracked by activating the onboard beacon transmitter and the vehicle is then tracked by a DF receiver / antenna.
